About Jena

I was born and raised on the scenic west coast – from Northern California to all over western Oregon. After stints as a school teacher, waitress, organic farmer, Buddhist monastic, and nonprofit worker, I decided to deepen my work in the health and healing field by working directly with the body to help alleviate stress, tension, and body pain. I completed my massage therapy credentials at the St. Croix Center for the Healing Arts in Hudson, Wisconsin in 2010.

I provide individualized sessions, unique to each client, integrating Swedish strokes with therapeutic and deep tissue techniques. A treatment plan might include regular (weekly, bi-weekly) sessions until your area of pain or tension has improved, or monthly "maintenance" sessions to keep tension at bay.

I enjoy spending time with my son and cats, growing food, big food projects with friends, taking long walks, contemplating the Big Questions, touching nature, and helping friends.
