Massage Treatment Changes During COVID-19 Pandemic

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Before Your Session:

1. Please make sure you do not present with any COVID-19 symptoms; otherwise, please reschedule. Better yet, if you feel unwell for ANY reason, please reschedule.

2. As of March 12, 2022, Oregon residents are no longer mandated to mask up indoors in most settings. In light of this, if you are uncomfortable unmasked or with the fact that someone might have been in this shared space before your unmasked, you are welcome to wear a face covering. I am also happy to do so if that is your preference.

MASSAGE THERAPIST RESPONSIBILITIES

Before Your Session:

1. Self-check wellness. If not well, cancel and reschedule session.

2. Wash hands and arms thoroughly with soap and warm water. 

3. Provide fresh, laundered linens.

4. Make sure that the room, massage table, supplies and equipment are properly cleaned and disinfected before your session.

5. Run room air purifier on highest setting between clients, or longer.

During Your Session:

Wear a face covering, per client preference.

Run room air purifier, per client preference.

After Your Session:

Wash hands and arms thoroughly with soap and warm water.
